Islamic Help is a UK registered charity and international NGO established in 2003 by a group of young people determined to make a difference to the lives of those afflicted by poverty and suffering.Enthusiastic, dedicated and visionary the group took their ideas to older and wiser members of the community and were pleased to get their support and to launch an initiative that a few years later would become the globally recognised charity that is Islamic Help.

It’s a very small phrase, Astaghfirullah, we learned it when we were young, yet do we know its benefits?
People often forget the importance of the simple yet powerful dua “Astaghfirullah” (I seek forgiveness of Allah). It is the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet SWA to seek Istighfar 100 times daily. If Prophet Muhammad SWA, the man to whom Jannah is guaranteed, seeks forgiveness of Allah at least 100 times a day, where do our chances lie to get Jannah?
However, Istighfar isn’t just about repenting to Allah SWT for one’s sins but has many more benefits. Istighfar gives you Energy and Hope, it saves you from Despair and Unproductivity. Istighfar is the secret of PROSPERITY and SUCCESS, the medicine that was prescribed to people who need more health, wealth or children;
“Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers” (Surah Nuh, Verses 10-12).
