Actions and Detail Panel
Tue 23 February 2016, 18:00 – 20:00 GMT
Over the last four years Nottingham City Council has made savings totalling £123million against a backdrop of cuts to Government funding and rising costs.
At an exclusive session for The East Midlands HR Network, Nottingham City Council's Head of Transformation, Richard Henderson, and his team will outline how the Council’s approach to HR and Transformation has delivered some of the change needed to deliver the necessary savings.
Split into two sessions, they’ll cover:
1. Great Workforce
The council has an underpinning ethos of putting ‘Citizens at the Heart’ of everything they do. Richard and his team will talk about the Council’s culture change programme, the activities that support their ethos and how it’s a fundamental element of their transformation journey of getting from ‘Good to Great’.
2. Terms and Conditions
As with all local authorities, Nottingham City Council is having to reduce and control workforce costs in the face of the Government’s austerity measures. Richard and his team will outline some of the innovative and tough initiatives they are implementing around terms and conditions to meet ongoing cuts in public spending.
It promises to be a great event, we hope to see many in-house HR professionals there on the night!
