Join us for our respite and short breaks stakeholder event to find out about what has been happening with the All Moves Matter strand.

All Moves MatterThese stakeholder events are opportunities for us to collectively update, share learning and develop next steps across areas that matter to learning disability family carers in Wales. In October, All Wales Forum Roadshow ran events across Wales as part of the mid-point review of the Caring Communities of Change project. These events aimed to co-produce actions across the main themes of the project, which are transitions, respite and short break and community activity. These action plans can be found on our website As part of All Moves Matter, there are three main areas we exploring and piloting ideas –•	Home from Home – establishing a peer support network around the shared lives model to provide emotional support, information and guidance for families wishing to explore the model during their transition from home to independent living •	Direct Independence – families using Direct Payments to access opportunities to experience independence though unique experiences and the private housing market •	Referral Pathway – connecting family carers to opportunities to access education, training and employment ---Get to know Multi-Me Session
Multi Me is a secure social platform for individuals with disabilities and the circle of people that support them in their daily lives. The platform has a range of accessible tools designed to give people a voice and enable them to have choice and control in their life.
All Wales Forum, in collaboration with the Rix Foundation, is working with Multi-Me to explore this platform as a tool for families for connect and stay connected and develop options for families in the future. 
There will be a 30 minute workshop at the end of the stakeholder meeting from 12pm to 12:30pm to introduce families to the platform and explore how you can get involved in this area of work.
