Description

“We want to hear your experiences of accessing and using transport services…”

The Department for Transport has published its draft Transport Accessibility Action Plan for public consultation. This Action Plan sets out the Government’s proposed strategy for reducing the barriers faced by people with visible and hidden disabilities accessing and using transport services.

As part of the consultation, we will be holding a workshop at The Vassall Centre in Bristol on Wednesday 4 October, to hear directly from disabled transport users.

Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to group discussions on a range of transport issues covering air travel, rail travel, buses and taxis and the pedestrian environment.

Space is limited with places being allocated on a first come, first served basis. Please register as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please email: AAPConsultation@dft.gsi.gov.uk

Further information on the consultation can be found on the Department for Transport website:
