In this training, you will discover how to create safe and supportive environments, making a lasting impact on children and their families

Training Objectives

  • Understand the Principles of Trauma-Informed Practice Learn the core values and approaches that define trauma-informed care.
  • Understand the Role of the Trauma-Informed Practitioner (TIP) Explore how TIPs support individuals through empathy, consistency, and reflective practice.
  • Understand Trauma's Impact on Children, Young People, and their Families Recognise the signs of trauma and how it affects behaviour, relationships, and development.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch if you have specific dietary requirements.

1. Payment for tickets is to be made in full at the time of booking.

2. Cancellations and refund terms – Tickets are non-refundable however can be transferred to another person, please contact us for more information.

3. If for any reason we need to postpone the event any tickets already purchased will be transferred to the rearranged date.

4. If for any reason COECT cancels the course a full refund will be issued. COECT accepts no responsibility for any arrangements or costs due to cancellation.
