Tree Folklore & Bookbinding Workshop

Tree Folklore & Bookbinding Workshop

Top Organizer
Overview

Join us to learn about tree identification, explore the rich folklore surrounding these impressive organisms, and create your own ID guide!

On this beginner-friendly workshop you’ll explore the names and characteristics of trees, and human connections with trees as we explore the reimagined Grosvenor Square.

Throughout various cultures and time periods, trees were seen as sacred beings, filled with stories and wisdom.

Through observation, conversation and reflection we can re-establish this connection and rediscover the importance trees have in our everyday lives.

Before the walk you will also have the chance to create your own ID guide using bookbinding techniques!

All proceeds from this event enable London Wildlife Trust's mission of nature recovery for a thriving city.
