Hardstanding for parking is at the far end of this barn and the tree nursery is on your right. Click here for a visual of where to park.

The address is Fagnall Farm Barns, Fagnall Lane, Winchmore Hill, Amersham, HP7 0PQ. W3W: ///region.rescue.jaws. Parking is limited. Please park considerately and car share where possible or advise us if you need a lift from depot.

The Task:

Today we wil be lifting our locally grown trees ready to go to their new homes and start a new life as a tree or a lovely native hedgerow.

Timings (please note these timings are approximate):

10.00: Arrival for safety briefing and start work

11.30: Tea & coffee break

13.00: Lunch Break - please bring your own

15.30: Work finishes, time to go home!

Access: The tree nursery is on flat ground and has good accessibility for all. A toilet is also available for use on site.

What to bring:

Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.

Long trousers are advisable as there may be ticks and thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.

Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain. If it's a sunny day you may want to bring a hat and some suncream.

Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.

Please note:

Biscuits are served at all Chiltern Rangers sessions. Please advise if you have an allergy.

Sometimes there is a need for us to use power tools that can be noisy.
