Tree Planting at Chapter Meadows

Tree Planting at Chapter Meadows

Chapter Meadows Nature ReserveWorcester, England
Wednesday, Feb 4 from 2 pm to 4 pm GMT
Overview

Join us for tree planting at Chapter Meadows with Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and help to restore nature.

Join the Campus Conservation Crew and the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust for an afternoon of hands‑on conservation at Chapter Meadows — a revitalized riverside nature reserve along the scenic River Severn. This peaceful green space is being transformed into a haven for biodiversity and community engagement, and your help will make a real difference.

We’ll be planting young trees to support habitat restoration and rewilding efforts, contributing to the long‑term health of this important flood meadow. No prior experience is needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands a little muddy.

🌳 What to Expect

  • Guided tree‑planting session led by Worcestershire Wildlife Trust staff
  • A chance to learn about local wildlife and habitat restoration
  • A friendly, collaborative atmosphere
  • All tools and materials provided

👟 What to Bring

  • Sturdy footwear
  • Weather‑appropriate clothing
  • Gloves if you have them (optional)

💚 Who Can Join

Everyone is welcome — students, staff, and community members alike. Whether you’re a seasoned conservation volunteer or completely new to this kind of activity, we’d love to have you with us.
