Tree Planting
(Wild Spaces / Wild Places)
Saturday 8th September 2025
10am to 3pm
This Autumn at Westraven Community Garden get involved with hands-on gardening that helps wildlife; planting for pollinators, building habitats, saving seeds, improving soil and conserving water.
Practical sessions to boost biodiversity and care for nature throughout the year.
In this session you will be planting trees, shrubs and bulbs around the garden.
We will also be having a hot stew to keep us warm during this session!
This is a great way to support wildlife and boost biodiversity on the city whilst getting you closer to nature.
You will be learning about various trees, shrubs and habitat planting across the 1.5 acre garden, improving the site
These workshops are part of our Wild Spaces / Shared Places and are funded by CrossCountry Trains as part of their Biodiversity Improvement Projects (BIP)
