Join us for a guided walk to learn about the significant tree species in the woods and how to identify them.

Sydenham Hill and Dulwich Woods hosts almost every species of tree native to the UK and a number of trees that are relics of the Victorian gardens that once covered part of the wood.

Join Sam, our Senior Nature Recovery Officer, to learn about the fascinating world of trees including how to identify them by looking at the leaves, bark and buds.

📍 Meeting Point: Crescent Wood Road entrance, opposite Countisbury House

What3Words location: faded.storm.goods

⏰ Time: Walk leaves promptly at 15:00

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Who can come: Anyone - Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times

What to expect:

🌳 1 hour 30 min guided walk, returning to the meeting point

🌺 Discover the trees of Sydenham Hill and Dulwich Woods

The delivery of the 'Reuniting Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood' project is made possible by our funders and partners: The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Dulwich Estate, Southwark Council, The Kusuma Trust, Black Girls Hike, and Wanderers of Colour. This funding and these partnerships help to secure the future of the woods by bringing together the management of Sydenham Hill Wood and Dulwich Wood under London Wildlife Trust.
