Tree whip maintenance

A hands-on volunteering opportunity with the Natural Environment team to help manage the tree whips planted after Storm Ciaran.

Planted whips require ongoing maintenance to provide them with the best opportunity to thrive and grow and Natural Environment's Land Resource Management Team are looking for volunteers to help with the hands-on management of tree whips planted after Storm Ciaran.

You'll help remove overgrown vegetation from the tree whips.

We'll meet at the first carpark at Noirmont.

Please bring your own refreshments.

Tools will be provided.

Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. If you have gardening gloves you are welcome to bring them with you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your volunteer hours and make a positive difference to a protected and sensitive site.
