Join us for the official open day of the Treorchy Wellbeing Hub, delivered by Mental Health Matters Wales, as part of Time to Talk Day 2026.
This free community open day is an opportunity to:
- See inside the new Treorchy Wellbeing Hub
- Meet the Mental Health Matters Wales team
- Learn about local wellbeing, advocacy and peer support services
- Find out how to get involved, including volunteering opportunities
- Take part in informal conversations about mental health in a relaxed, welcoming space
Time to Talk Day is about starting simple conversations that help reduce stigma and remind people they are not alone. You are welcome to drop in at any point during the day.
What’s happening on the day
- Hub tours and informal welcome
- Information on current groups and services, including:
- Men’s wellbeing group
- ADHD peer support group
- Community warm space sessions
- Light refreshments
- Guest speakers with lived experience (to be confirmed)
- Information on volunteering at our wellbeing hubs
Who should attend
- Local residents
- Community groups and organisations
- Professionals working in health, social care or the voluntary sector
- Anyone interested in mental health, wellbeing or volunteering
You do not need any prior knowledge or experience. Everyone is welcome.
