OBX is the Creative Technology hub at Hastings Commons. We are based on the mezzanine floor in the Observer Building.We work with local communities and artists to run workshops, talks, exhibitions and arts projects. We explore opportunities presented by creative technology to build stronger communities, develop great art and talent and support employment potential. We aim to be led and inspired by communities local to our building.

Join Hastings Commons on 20th March for an activity packed afternoon and evening to celebrate the rich heritage of the America Ground Hastings and remember the highlights of our Trinity Triangle Heritage Action Zone project.Expect interactive exhibitions, panel discussions and talks and live performance. Plus, the launch of our forthcoming Observer Building publication Back From The Brink - The Observer Building: its rise, fall and rescue.Ways to Book:If you are able to please book a free ticket. This will help us manage capacity.If you would prefer to book through the phone please call 01424 230222 and our team would be happy to help.Alternatively if the event is not sold out, please feel free to just turn up.

Afternoon:Drop-in between 3pm - 5.30pm to view and take part in a range of interactive activities.The drop-in is suitable for families.Tours:Tours of the building will be available to book during the afternoon session. Please sign up when you arrive (between 3pm and 4.30pm). Tours will start 4.00/5.15/5.30pm. Please note that due to capacity this is on a first come first served basis.Learning Event:Between 5pm - 6pm, there will be also be an Open Space event in the Observer Building board room in which we can share learnings and thoughts together on the Trinity Triangle Heritage Action Zone project. This event will be facilitated by independent evaluator Neil Smith, alongside two staff members.Evening:Doors will open at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start. Expect PechaKucha presentations, panel discussions and some short performances.More information about speakers and interative experiences to be released soon!

Please note that the afternoon session is drop-in but evening guests must arrive for the start of the programme.
