The performance is inspired by truth, lies and the strange ‘reality’ we find ourselves in, where ‘false news’ and Facebook are facts of life. Drawing together autobiography and philosophy, the performance traces the connections between the often life changing lies, and the writings of philosopher Jean Baudrillard, whoose ideas seem to eerily predicate a world view which has less and less idea of what the truth really is, and if it even matters any more. How do you know who you are, if you can’t be sure what you know any more?
