Truth Mandala, a time to gather and feel the truth of our emotions togehter

Our culture makes little space for meeting our full emotions, there is often a message that we should hide our sadness, ignore our dreams, tame our rage, feel ashamed of our uncertainties and carry on as usual, but we know there is another way.Extinction rebellion is different to other activist spaces and relies on a culture that regenerates ourselves and each other. It understands that facing the truths of what the climate and ecology scientists are telling us take it's toll and that we need to make space to care for ourselves and each other and when we do that we come out stronger and wilder and fuller for it.Join us for a Truth Mandala ritual in our secret forest glade – this is a held facilitated space where we can gather together and support each other to be with the truth of these feelings and know we are not alone in this.What to expectThere will be a maximum of 20 people in our circle. We will have some natural objects as a shrine in the centre and people will be invited approach the objects and speak their truth if they wish and to listen to the truths of other. Listening is as valued as speaking this is a space where we are invited to connect to the truth of how we are feeling.

Please bring what you will need to sit on to be comfortable - cushions, blankets.This workshop is a part of a Extinction Rebellion Regenerative culture event day and picnic (see https://xrbrighton.earth event page for more info) by passionate volunteers. Spaces are limited on this workshop, when you are sure you can attend this workshop please reserve your place.
