Overview
Drop in and try apps like Google Lens, Seeing AI or Be My Eyes. Free event, no need to book.
AI is all over the news, sometimes scary and sometimes promising the world. The truth is it offers a new range of tools that you can use if you want to.
Apps such as Google Lens can do useful tricks like translating or identifying objects.
Some apps, such as Seeing AI or Be My Eyes are intended to help people with visual impairment navigate the world around them.
Come along to City Library and have a try at using some of these apps. We can explain a little about what they can (and can't!) do and give you the chance to try them in a safe and supported environment.
