Travel

By bus:

From / to Trumpington P&R

Guided buses run every 10 minutes between Trumpington P&R and the Royal Papworth bus stop, located directly in front of the Discovery Centre building and less than a 5 minute walk to main reception. The journey time by bus is 5 minutes. Click here for more information. Parking at the P&R is free up to 18 hours.

From / to Central Cambridge

Guided buses run every 10 minutes between Cambridge Rail Station and the Royal Papworth bus stop, located directly in front of the Discovery Centre building and less than a 5 minute walk to main reception. The journey time by bus is 5 minutes and services depart from rail station bus stop 1. Click here for more information.

By car: Onsite parking is limited at the Discovery Centre. Therefore we ask that you consider alternative modes of travel to get to the Discovery Centre. Parking at the P&R is free up to 18 hours. Alternative parking can be found in the main Addenbrookes Hospital car park 2.

Blue badge, occupational health and business critical parking is available outside the main Discovery Centre entrance. Please contact makingtravelwork@astrazeneca.com for more information.

By train: The main Cambridge train station provides links to London Kings Cross & London Liverpool Street to the south, Kings Lynn and Ely to the north, Birmingham New Street to the west and Norwich to the east.The station is located 2 miles from the Discovery Centre with excellent connections to other modes of transport. The Cambridge Guided Busway services have a journey time of 10 minutes and stop directly outside of the Discovery Centre. From the bus stop, it is a 5 minute walk.
