Visit Acton Court for the end of season event ‘Tudor Jamboree’.

Join us for our Tudor Jamboree event on Sunday 28 June 2026

This year's our special guests include:

Stringed Instruments of the Tudor Court - early music historian and player, Ian Pittaway.

RaptorCare birds of prey - Tony Bryant as Robert Cheeseman, Falconer to Henry VIII.

Lady Samantha and the Six Queens - Tudor dressing up and dressing down; courtly habits, dancing and games.

The Enchanted Tudor Rose – costume jewellery from Wolf Hall.

Merchant House Artisans with Mistress Mary's Tudor herbs and plants; Master Richard's Tudor tailoring, cloths and dyes.

Paint a Tudor Queen - artist Chloe Drew helping visitors to paint a royal portrait.

Tudor Garden Guide - Deb Randall answers questions about Acton Court's gardens and grounds.

Organic Blooms - display their cut-flowers and talk about why it’s important that they’re organic.

Admission times: There will be two time slots 10:30 -13:00 and 14:00 -16:30.

Admission prices: Adult £16.96 including booking fee. Children, 11 and under, by arrangement, email info@actoncourt.com.

You can check out as a guest using your credit or debit card or with your Paypal Account.

There will be no audio guides but there will be visual information and Blue Badge Guides available to answer questions.


Amenities

There is free parking and partial access for disabled visitors.

Light refreshments are available on site: tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream and a wide selection of cakes and pastries, including gluten free options.
