About this event

Step up to the decks and unleash your inner scratch DJ in this hands-on, high-energy workshop. Led by music technology for education specialist Bradley Smith—creator of five groundbreaking scratch DJ schemes of work used in hundreds of UK schools—this session gives you a fast-track introduction to the art of turntablism.

You'll learn several foundational scratching techniques using compact real-vinyl scratch turntables, designed to make the experience accessible, engaging, and instantly rewarding. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and rhythm. Perfect for anyone who's ever wanted to try scratching, this is your chance to dive into one of music’s most iconic and expressive artforms.

Please note we have very limited capacity to ensure a quality experience. Please ensure you are able to attend before booking, and if your circumstances change, please cancel your ticket to allow someone else to book on.
