Jersey synth-wave pioneers Turquoise Days perform at ArtHouse Jersey at Capital House as part of our Summer Performance Series.

ArtHouse Jersey are delighted to present Turquoise Days as a part our Summer Performance Series at Capital House.

Turquoise Days are Jersey synth-wave pioneers, originally formed in the early 1980s and now enjoying a renewed international following. Their music has been rediscovered through social media, vinyl reissues and streaming releases on New York–based Minimal Wave Records in 2009, 2019 and 2024.

Their songs have featured on compilations for Minimal Wave Records, Geheimis Records and Stones Throw Records, as well as The Tears of Technology, curated by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs (Saint Etienne) for Ace Records, where their track Grey Skies appears alongside artists such as OMD, Simple Minds, The Human League and China Crisis. As interest in synth-wave continues to grow across Europe and the Americas, the band has recently played headline shows in Antwerp, Paris, Athens and Leipzig.

Originally a duo comprising Luciano Brambilla (Luchie) on vocals and guitar, and David Le Breton on keyboards and drum programming, Turquoise Days expanded into a live band with Chris Petra on bass guitar and Paul Bentley on keyboards. Their sound is melodic and emotive, blending synth-wave, minimal wave and cold wave influences.

With over 3.3 million views on YouTube and 3.6 million Spotify streams for Grey Skies, Turquoise Days are delighted to return to Jersey to perform live.
