Twilight CPD - KS2 Coding for Numeracy

Nerve Belfast Creative Learning Centre

NOTE: This is a 2-day course and both days will run from 15.30 - 17.30.
This practical course will introduce you to some “unplugged” computational thinking and problem solving activities that can be used with KS2 pupils to not only enhance their understanding of coding but also support numeracy. Through project based learning, explore topics such as co-ordinates, patterns, sequencing, shapes and angles using Scratch on PC and Hopscotch/Tynker on iPad. You will also learn about other potential teaching tools that can be used to support coding for numeracy in the classroom.
Time will also be given for sharing ideas and planning for classroom application.
