Twilight Nature & Bat Walk

Join our Bat experts Jeff & Marcus for a 2 hour Twilight Nature and Bat Walk around Haigh Woodland Park.

Please meet at the Visitors Centre at 7pm for a family-freindly adventure as darkness falls.

The walk will begin by a facinating introduction to the Bats of Haigh, followed by a guided walk through the woodland where our experts will stop at various points to talk about the trees, wildlife, insects and fungi and answer any questions you may have.

Then when dusk falls, you will be supplied with a bat detetor to tune in as they swoop and feed over the park . Binnoculars for your ears!!!

Please wear sturdy footwear and bring a torch!

Children are free to attend with a full paying adult.

Parking is free for this event but please take a ticket as you enter the carpark in order for the barrier to raise for you.
