Twinkl Scotland Primary and Count On Us: The Numeracy BluePrints Strategies

Join us for a fun and practical session all about bringing numeracy to life in the primary classroom. We’ll explore a range of ways to embed and link the Concrete, Pictorial, and Abstract (CPA) teaching approaches into your everyday lessons.

We will focus on the pedagogy behind key numeracy skills and how to build and develop a deeper conceptual understanding of these skills. Using visual and active learning resources, the session will demonstrate engaging strategies that support all learners—regardless of ability or background.

Led by Chris McKenna from Count On Us, the session will make the teaching of the four operations interactive, fun, and memorable. It’s all about helping both teachers and pupils experience those moments that make learning stick.
