In October 2021 five members of the TWP put their (virtual) heads together , and created a short poetry play exploring the rebellions we inherit and the ones we take up along the way. Join us at the barricades, with banners, bandanas, and berets, and prepare to see our Marys...

Our open mic is open to everyone from everywhere, with a particular welcome for writers who are women and/or from Teesside. We do not permit hateful or offensive speech, and reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone behaving inappropriately. We ask all readers and performers to send us the text of their work in advance, so we can screen share it for our deaf audience members.
