About this event

It’s time to glow crazy for Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice and have fun in the dark! Run, jog or walk, join with friends, take your family or do it solo the choice is yours!

We can’t wait to light up The National Botanic Garden of Wales and see everyone waving their glow sticks in aid of local families.

This epic 2.5k two lap spooky fun run starts in Millennium Square. Your route will take you through gardens, past water features, and around the Great Glass House – the largest single-span glass house in the world – before returning to Millennium Square for another lap, if you dare!

Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! - and we’ll be giving a prize for the best costume.

Sign up today and you will ensure that we can continue to be there for every family who needs us.

Registration will open at 17:45pm with a set off time at 18:30pm – there is no time limit to complete the route in.

What you will get when registering

  • Entry into the ticketed event
  • A fully marshalled route
  • A large glowstick
  • A bespoke medal
  • Fundraising support
  • Access to the Dark Runs Facebook group.
