UK Computing Summit 2024

The Council of Professors and Heads of Computing exists to promote public education in computing and its applications and to provide a forum for those responsible for management and research in university computing departments.

Jointly hosted by BCS, CPHC and UKCRC, the UK Computing Summit 2024’s theme is Shaping Computing’s Visions Challenges & Opportunities.

<h4>The UK Computing Summit 2024 brings together the BCS, CPHC and UKCRC communities for two days of keynotes, panel discussions and workshops.</h4>There will also be plenty of opportunities for networking, including the Summit dinner on the Tuesday evening.The UK Computing Summit is open to all members of CPHC, UKCRC and BCS, particularly those working in or with the higher education sector. We would also welcome anyone from industry who have an interest in tech policy, application and impact of computing.The summit programme covers a range of topics, including computing pedagogy, CPHC Special Project Grants, recruitment and retention of staff, Chair in 10 Years, mentoring, EDI and journals/publishing, fireside chats on tech policy and neurodiversity and more.
