The <A HREF="http://opensourceawards.org" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Source Awards (OSA)</A> rides again. Now in their 6th year, OSA is a non-profit event that celebrates and acknowledges the contributions from the community of technology experts that make open source such a powerful and unstoppable disruptive force in the current technology landscape. The Awards Event will be <A HREF="http://opensourceawards.org/osawp/venue/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Informatics Forum</A> of the University of Edinburgh and will take place on Wednesday 12 June 2019. The Informatics Forum is a bright, modern and flexible space that accommodates up to 200 delegates.
 
We are looking for nominations in the following five categories for individuals and organisations which in the last year have shown exceptional initiative with free and open source software:

Individual Award - For outstanding contributions to open source

Company Award - We are looking for nominations in the following five categories for individuals and organisations which in the last year have shown exceptional initiative with free and open source software.

<LI>
Public Sector Award - for an outstanding open source project in the UK public sector
</LI>
<LI>
Student Award - A cash prize of £1,500 for an outstanding contribution to open source from currently matriculated UK students
</LI>
</UL>
