Underdawg Live Poetry and Live Music jam night in Shoreditch. In celebration of world mental health day, we&#x27;re hosting a creative evening with all proceeds raised on the evening going to Papyrus ( Youth Suicide Prevention Charity). Learning from his predecessors such as Blade Brown, Potter Payper &amp; Rimzzee his hard hitting, introspective and unfiltered lyrics give a fresh take on the real rap genre from the viewpoint of a legal hustler. From the realities of building a business with little support losing friends and connections in the process to celebrating six figure success and breaking down tax efficient ways to store it J-mal offers an insight into the inspiring story of young black entrepreneurs often missing from mainstream music.&quot;J﻿amala OsmanJamala Osman is a 28 year-old award winning motivational speaker and former bank manager at Barclays. She was one of the youngest bank managers in the country and was tasked with running her first branch at the age of 21. Jamala is a captivating speaker who uses spoken word to tell her story. She opened for Eric Thomas in 2019 and is well known for her TEDx London talk ‘From the block to the Bank’Jamala speaks about her dramatic turnaround from a challenging start in life that led her to create pathways and programmes for other struggling individuals to help break down barriers. Jamala is passionate about mental health and poetry to connect her audience to her experiences
