Understanding and responding to “psychosis”
A two part workshop- Part 1 on 3rd October 10.30-1 and Part 2 17th October 10.30-1
This workshop is delivered by people with lived expeirence of psychosis and psychological therapists.
This workshop is for:
- People who have experiences that may get labelled as psychosis, with or without a diagnosis
- Their family, friends and carers
- Mental health workers
- Anyone who wants to know more about mental health
W e will be exploring why some people have the kinds of unusual experiences that can lead to a diagnosis of psychosis. We will also discuss some helpful responses to support people psychologically with their experiences and work towards recovery. We will not be talking about medical approaches to treatment.
This is a two session workshop- Part 1 is on 3rd October 10.30-1 and Part 2 is on 17th October 10.30-1. You should attend both sessions.
