Understanding Awarding Gaps: Causes, Considerations and Moving Forward

Outline:

This session will walk participants through a range of considerations when promoting equity of opportunity in Higher Education.

The session will outline key areas for intervention across the student experience including methods for promoting authentic belonging, inclusive curriculums, inclusive and accessible teaching methods, and assessment practices that respond to learner diversity.

By the end of the session colleagues will have some tools to take away for immediate enhancements as well as resources, further reading and opportunities for further training.
