Every day situations and environments can be triggers for anxiety in children. Some may become angry or distressed but some have learnt to hold in their stress and appear to be "fine" until they feel safe. This can often lead to meltdowns such as coming home after school.
This is another chance to hear this popular session with Tracey from ADHD Foundation explain and suggest ways that may help us help our child
PLEASE NOTE - Pinpoint are not funded for TWILIGHT sessions so this will only be the playing of the recording of a previous session.
Pinpoint provide help and information to parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-25 with additional needs and disabilities in Cambridgeshire.
No formal diagnosis is required to access support from Pinpoint – a child may be on a waiting list, accessing services, had a referral turned down, or just be struggling.
We offer signposting and events for all things SEND and are the Parent Carer Forum for Cambridgeshire. Pinpoint also give parent carers opportunities to have a say and get involved in improving local services.
You will be sent an email containing the Zoom link to access the session 2 days before, 2 hours before and at the start of the session. Please do check your junk mail and spam folders as these emails sometimes end up there!
Be comfortable at Pinpoint sessions - You can keep your camera off and stay on mute and simply join us and other parent carers who “get it” from your sofa 😊
