About this event

  • 2 hours

Increasingly, bereavement is becoming a wellbeing issue as well as one concerning the practicalities and loss of a death. We find that both workers and those affected by bereavement want to know about models of understanding for grief (e.g. Kubler Ross, Parkers, Worden), techniques and approaches for managing individual wellbeing in a time of grief and some practical insight into what happens in us and how we respond. This seminar is about opening up models and ideas to discussion and providing tangible wellbeing tools which fit with them.

This event is being delivered as part of the Sheffield Life, Loss and Death Festival. There are over 40 free events taking place across Sheffield during the month-long festival in May. Please find all event details, and book your places by visiting Compassionate Sheffield’s festival webpage here https://www.compassionate-sheffield.co.uk/life-loss-and-death-festival
