Understanding Birth Trauma: A Path to Healing

Northcote Chiropractic ClinicLondon, England
Wednesday, Jan 28 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm GMT
Overview

Join us for a deep dive into the journey of healing from birth trauma - a safe space for sharing and growth awaits!

Did you know that birth trauma affects up to 1 in 3 mothers? If you've felt that something wasn't quite right after giving birth (whether recently or many years ago) your healing is possible.

In the workshop, Andrea will discuss:

  • How trauma lives in the body and nervous system
  • Why birth experiences can have lasting effects
  • Evidence-based methods for trauma resolution (Somatic Experiencing®, EMDR, 3-Step Rewind, and more)
  • How trauma-focused work complements your Chiropractic care
  • Signs it might to to time to seek support

This trauma-sensitive in-person talk is designed to educate and empower. You'll leave with clarity about how healing works and whether trauma resolution might be right for you.

Admission to this talk is a £5 + Eventbrite fees. 100% of the proceeds will go to PANDAS Foundation UK which is a charity that supports parents affected by perinatal mental illness.

Andrea works at Northote Chiropractic every Wednesday and is available for private sessions - in-person and online.
