Understanding Code - Session 1 HTML
We are delighted to announce that Understanding Code will be running again starting on January 25th. There are 6 sessions scheduled. The first session will cover HTML so we can start to design pages, the second will cover CSS so we can start styling our pages and the last session will cover Javascript so we can change our page on the fly.
Session dates
Mon 25th January 6.00-7.30pm - Introduction to HTML
Mon 1st February 6.00-7.30pm - CSS and Styling
Mon 8th February 6.00-7.30pm - Javascript and Dynamic Content

Mon 22nd February 6.00-7.30pm - Python I
Mon 29th February 6.00-7.30pm - Python II
Mon 7th March 6.00-7.30pm - Python III
Who is welcome?
Anyone is welcome. The course doesn't assume any knowledge about programming at all. We will be using a program called Brackets. The course does however assume that you can use a computer but no expertise are required. If the phrase 'move the window to reveal the folder underneath then open the folder' doesn't sound like an alien language to you then you will be fine.
What is provided?
You will need to bring a laptop with you, wifi is provided. Some free beer / wine / cider / soft drinks will also be provided for all attendees.
Age restrictions
We ask that anyone under 16 is accompanied by an adult.
