Understanding Code - Session 2 CSS

We are delighted to announce that Understanding Code is back and will be starting again on Monday 9th May. There are 6 sessions scheduled. The first session will cover HTML so we can start to design pages, the second will cover CSS so we can start styling our pages and the last session will cover Javascript so we can change our page on the fly.

Mon 9th May - 6.00-7.30pm - Introduction to HTML
Mon 16th May - 6.00-7.30pm - CSS and Styling
Mon 23rd May - 6.00-7.30pm - Javascript and Dynamic Content

Mon 13th June - 6.00-7.30pm - Python II
Mon 20th June - 6.00-7.30pm - Python III

Understanding Code Sessions are limited to 20 people, so if you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can allocate your space to someone else.

Who is welcome?
Anyone is welcome. The course doesn't assume any knowledge about programming at all. We will be using a program called Brackets. The course does however assume that you can use a computer but no expertise are required. If the phrase 'move the window to reveal the folder underneath then open the folder' doesn't sound like an alien language to you then you will be fine.

What is provided?

You will need to bring a laptop with you, wifi is provided. Some free beer / soft drinks will also be provided for all attendees. We will be in the Auditorium in Bunker Coffee & Kitchen, so hot drinks will be available to buy on the evening.

Age restrictions
We ask that anyone under 16 is accompanied by an adult, and to be aware that there will be alcohol on the premises.
