Understanding Pathological Demand Avoidance.

Understanding Pathological Demand Avoidance.

Overview

Join us for training on pathological demand avoidance.

NSPCWT would like to invite parent carers to a fully funded training session with Bev Robson on Pathological demand avoidance.

This practical training session is designed to help parent carers better understand Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and its impact on children and family life. Participants will explore the characteristics of the PDA profile, learn why traditional approaches may be less effective, and discover practical, relationship-based strategies to reduce anxiety, support communication, and build positive daily interactions. The session provides a supportive space to increase confidence, share experiences, and develop approaches that work for both children and families.

North Somerset Parent Carers Working Together are incredibly excited to extend our training offer with more diverse topics to benefit you and your families.
