Understanding SEND Support : Navigating the Graduated Approach

Workshop by the Milton Keynes SENDIAS Service delivered via Microsoft Teams.

For parents and carers of children and young people with a special educational needs or disability. This workshop is for families living in Milton Keynes.

Does your child need extra support with their learning? The SEND Code of Practice says that schools should follow a graduated approach to identify children in need of support, assess their needs, monitor progress, and secure appropriate support. This session provides information on what this process looks like in an educational setting and how schools should support children who do not have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Empower yourself with the knowledge to advocate for your child's educational needs.

This workshop is suitable for parents/carers whose children are on SEND support and do not have an EHCP.

Places must be pre-booked.
