With reducing resources and increasing demand, capacity is the number one concern within nonprofit organisations. But how much capacity do we have within the sectors and systems we are part of - and how do we build more of it? <blockquote>Capacity…</blockquote><blockquote>…for change (e.g. social care system reform)</blockquote><blockquote>…for delivery </blockquote><blockquote>…to stop firefighting </blockquote><blockquote>…for leadership</blockquote><blockquote>…for building capacity!</blockquote>Our next practice sharing session takes place online on 3rd November. The theme is system capacity, something of growing interest to membership organisations, sector intermediaries, <a href="https://www.thelastingdifference.com/our-survey-says/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">our recent research respondents</a>, and anyone interested in sustaining nonprofit organisations and their impact.We’ve worked with lots of sector intermediaries and membership organisations using a range of capacity-building approaches in different parts of the sector, so this is a special opportunity to share learning and practice.As usual, we’ll have good provocations if not all answers (yet)! We'll also be sharing learning from our work on building sector capacity with CVSs, membership organisations and others from around the UK. Join us and a panel of inspiring partners in exploring these and other questions:<ul><li>What does system / sector capacity look like?</li><li>How can you leverage your resources so they have a multiplier effect?</li><li>Who is served by the services we all provide?</li><li>What could be achieved with new approaches to communication and collaboration?</li></ul>More details will follow, but for now, save the date, reserve your place and watch this space for updates on content, panelists and special guests.
