Unearthed - Nature Creativity Workshop
Step out of your head and into nature. Slow down, create, connect, and come back to yourself
This is for you if:
- You feel disconnected from yourself, other women and nature
- Love being outdoors but don’t get out enough
- Need a reason to go and sit in nature for a few hours
- Feel overwhelmed or stuck in your head
- Want to try something different
- You love crafty things, and having a good ol’ yap
About this workshop:
We allll know being in nature is good for us, but often life gets busy and we get caught up indoors. This workshop is an intentional 2.5 hours where you can disconnect from the busyness of life - create, connect and come back to yourself.
Why this is different:
Connection is a core pillar in my events. In the first 15 minutes you’re brought into connection with one another so your nervous system can breathe, and you can go deeper into the space.
The main part of this workshop is the creativity aspect. We will be making a beautiful, personal and meaningful nature book - something that you’ll want to keep safe and use intentionally. It’s a book to write poems or stories, do crafts, press flowers, scrap book, journal about life - whatever you want, this is something you will come back to again and again.
(No artistic skill needed)
You’ll then be guided with simple journal prompts to connect with the earth, and write about your experience in the book you’ve just created.
We’ll end with some solo time in nature - a chance to integrate, slow down, and just be.
Where Unearthed came from:
There was a time when I didn’t choose to spend time in nature - I was pushed into it. At first it was just somewhere to be but slowly, something began to shift. I began to notice the seasons changing, the first flowers emerging, the way the land moves through cycles of growth, loss, and renewal. I started to see myself reflected in it all, and through this noticing, I began to reconnect - not just with nature, but with myself.
"We're biologically designed to fall in love with nature, and it's only when we're consciously connected to it that we're able to function optimally and realize our full potential."
What to expect:
- Nervous system grounding / somatic practice
- Gentle connection with others
- Nature book creation (all materials provided)
- Guided prompts to connect with the earth
- Solo sit spot (10 minutes of just being)
What to bring:
- Yoga mat or something to sit on
- Comfortable and suitable clothing and footwear
- Pen and any other creative bits you want to bring
- Water
- Cup for a hot drink
Exact location will be sent once you've booked on.
Please check the weather and wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Spces are very limited to keep it intimate and intentional - if you feel called, we would love to have you join us💚
