Creators, ranging from game developers to artists, architects, automotive designers, filmmakers, and more, use Unity to make their imaginations come to life, with an average of 5 billion downloads every month in 2020! The UK video games market hit a record high of £7 billion last year as lockdown caused an unprecedented surge in the popularity of mobile games, consoles and virtual reality headsets....and the need for Unity trained developers!Our Unity CoE, located at HOST in the heart of MediaCityUK, is the first in the UK and it offers extensive support to students and professionals who are looking to up-skill and move into careers in interactive and immersive technologies.Join us and hear from a panel of industry experts, including Dr. Maria Stukoff and Simon Benson, who will tell you more about our ground-breaking Unity academy.We&#x27;ll be joined by Gameopolis, and a panel of employers discussing their skills gaps and what they look for in an employee. V360 will also tell us about the industry projects they are hosting during the academy programme.This is a great opportunity to learn more, network and ask questions!Agenda:6:00pm – 6:05pm - Welcome and introductions.
