UoM dRTP workshop 2: support for data stewards and recognition for all RTPs

Nancy Rothwell BuildingManchester, England
Overview

Connecting digital research technical professionals (dRTP) at The University of Manchester. Discuss data stewardship, support & recognition.

This workshop brings together people working in diverse technical and specialist positions to discuss data stewardship, support, recognition and collaboration.

Purpose

This workshop aims to strengthen connections among RTPs across the University of Manchester and build links with colleagues across the wider region and the N8 partnership. Together, we will explore next steps for data stewardship across all faculties, while recognising and supporting the contributions of RTPs as essential partners in research.

Audience

This event is for Research Technical Professionals (RTPs) working across various technical, specialist and support roles, as well as academics, library and information professionals who work with or alongside them.

We welcome participants from The University of Manchester, as well as from across Greater Manchester, the North of England, and the N8 Research Partnership.

You do not need to have an “RTP” job title! If your work supports research in a technical or specialist capacity, this event is for you.

If you would like to take part but are unable to attend due to costs, please get in touch, we may be able to offer support.
