Event description
An opportunity for STEM Ambassadors to be updated on recent developments with the programme and identify ways to become active online.

About this Event

Science Connects invites you to take part in this short session so you can be updated on the STEM Ambassador Programme and hear about ways you can become active during the COVID pandemic.

There are 3 STEM Ambassador Hubs working together in Scotland and since lockdown began at the end of March, we have adapted to new ways of connecting with Ambassadors and Teachers. In this online world, teachers need a different type of support and Ambassadors are asked to provide videos, online resources and live sessions to inspire young people in the STEM subjects. This session will give examples of what Ambassadors have created during the last 6 months and how they have been used in schools.

Participation in this event will be added to your STEM Ambassador profile and will enable you to be an "active Ambassador".

This event will take place over Zoom - note that you do not need a zoom account to participate. We will send you the link 48 hours before the event starts.

If you have any questions or would like more information please contact Science Connects, West of Scotland STEM Ambassador Hub at stem-ambassadors@glasgow.ac.uk

The 3 STEM Ambassador Hubs in Scotland provide joint training sessions and events and as an Ambassador, you are able to attend these regardless of your location:
