Overview

Learn how RdSAP 10–led archetype analysis sharpens retrofit design, eligibility certainty and investment decisions.

About this event

The introduction of RdSAP 10 (launched 15 June 2025) has significantly shifted how local authorities manage housing asset data from broad assumptions to a detailed, evidence-based model. This update forces a more granular understanding of property performance, directly impacting retrofit strategies and funding eligibility.

Retrofit programmes are often shaped by high‑level eligibility rules, EPC thresholds, and assumptions made early in programme design. But as projects move into delivery, these assumptions can be challenged by the realities of RdSAP10 modelling, ventilation requirements, and individual property performance.

In this Masterclass, we’ll explore how updating archetype analysis using RdSAP 10 can support more accurate programme design, stronger marketing strategies, and better‑informed investment decisions. The session will focus on the role of high‑quality data in improving certainty around eligibility, enabling programmes to map eligible properties more confidently across local areas.

Drawing on practical examples, the session will highlight common pitfalls where delivery teams are caught out late in the process, and how upfront archetype modelling can help avoid these issues. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how improved data, smarter archetype analysis, and early consideration of ventilation impacts can lead to more robust programmes and better outcomes.

This event will be hosted online on Microsoft Teams and a link to join the event is included on Eventbrite.
