2-hour upper back strength class to improve posture and reduce neck & shoulder tension. King’s Cross, London. 1st session free for newcomers
Upper back strength & support
- If your shoulders round, your neck tightens, or posture collapses under effort, forcing it rarely works.
- Upper body tension often reflects missing structural support.
- This class develops reflexive support through the thoracic spine — improving posture without strain.
When upper support improves:
- Posture self-organises
- Shoulders feel lighter
- Breathing becomes easier
- Strength feels responsive rather than rigid
- Movement flows more cleanly
Clear repeatable shifts
- It’s common to experience a noticeable reduction in upper back, neck or shoulder tension during the session — often between one-third and two-thirds in the area we work on. And this reduction builds, class after class.
- Not everyone responds immediately.
- But when deeper support through the thoracic spine switches on, change can be surprisingly clear.
- We build support first.
- Posture follows.

- Shoulder or neck tension
- Desk-based workers
