Step back in time and discover the joy of traditional breadmaking using a Victorian bread oven. This relaxed and friendly workshop celebrates slow food, heritage skills and good company.

Spend the day learning hands-on techniques as you bake loaves the old way, explore the ancient art of the Cabbage Loaf – a time-honoured Jersey favourite – and enjoy the sights, smells and crackle of an historic oven.

No experience needed — just use your loaf and enjoy the process!

A hearty lunch of homemade soup, perfect with fresh bread, is included.

Expert guidance and ingredients will be supplied. Just bring your pinny (apron) and enthusiasm.

PLEASE NOTE – there will be allergens present (dairy, gluten, wheat).

This workshop is only suitable for adults.

Tickets available via Eventbrite. £45 per person. Limited spaces available.

No dogs allowed except assistance dogs.

Access – please note there is uneven ground, steps and low doorways.
