What online training platform do we use?

Our default online training platform is Zoom and the training will be delivered via a scheduled Zoom link shared via Eventbrite.

Question 2

Will I need access to video and audio on my computer?

Yes please! We politely request that all learners keep their video switched on for the entirety of the training event and audio muted, unless they are speaking to the group, to minimise audio interference.

Question 3

When should I try and join the session?

Accepted Answer

We kindly ask learners to join the ‘waiting room’ five minutes before the scheduled start of the training, so that it can begin promptly at the arranged time. The training will end promptly at the arranged finish time and will not run-over if attendees are late to join the training event.

Question 4

Can I record the session?

Accepted Answer

No video or audio recording of the training is permitted. However, we will share a condensed selection of training presentation slides with learners following the training session.

Question 5

What should I do if I experience technical issues during the training session?

Accepted Answer

If learners experience technical issues during the training event, then they should email ‘training@sltforkids.co.uk’ or call SLT for Kids for assistance (0330 088 2298).
