About this event

  • 2 hours

Plinth was launched with the aim to get charities more funding.

Despite charities running impactful programmes, all this hard work is too often recorded on siloed spreadsheets, sharepoints, google docs or loose pieces of paper.

Plinth’s first mission was to help charities to demonstrate their impact; to do this, we created a free case management platform to monitor attendees and report on outcomes of services.

Through these masterclasses we will discuss why collecting your charity data is important, how you can showcase your impact through your data and how to use this data to extend your outreach in your community.

Innovative Reporting (Session 2 of 3)

In this class we will be using free tools to create your own Discover page. Pulling information from the number of services you offer, the areas people come from to benefit from your programmes and the outcomes you have been able to achieve, we can create an URL that quickly highlights your impact to funders. Please bring some data about your organisation and we’ll help you make an URL that you can share with prospective funders.

Workshop leaders

Ceci and Jess are Partnership Leads at Plinth.
Website | Blog | LinkedIn

Ceci founded a charity society helping rough sleepers whilst at Edinburgh University, where she graduated with a degree in History. In the pandemic Ceci also started a small business, creating and selling illustrated poems to raise money for NHS Charities Together. Ceci strongly believes that the right support can give people struggling through hardship the opportunity to turn their lives around. Ceci grew up in North Yorkshire and now lives in East London.

Jess moved to London from the US in order to study Social Policy at LSE, writing about segregation and housing discrimination in her home town of Milwaukee. And after hiking the length of the USA Jess decided she needed another challenge and joined Plinth. Self-described government nerd, she loves talking about the best ways to drive positive change in society and losing in office typing races. When not being the best ambassador for the state of Wisconsin, Jess can be found somewhere around East London.
