Strathclyde Business School (SBS) was founded in 1948 and is a pioneering, internationally renowned academic organisation with a reputation for research excellence. One of four faculties forming the University of Strathclyde, SBS is a triple accredited business school (AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB) and was the first business school in Scotland to achieve this accolade in 2004. Professor Alec Morton has degrees from the University of Manchester and the University of Strathclyde. Alec is head of the Management Science Department. Before joining Strathclyde he has worked for Singapore Airlines, the National University of Singapore, and the London School of Economics, has held visiting positions at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Aalto University in Helsinki, the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in Hefei, and the National Audit Office and is a member of the International Decision Support Initiative. His main interests are in decision analysis and health economics. His research is funded by the European Commission, the Department of Health, the Medical Research Council and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and the Chief Scientist's Office of the Scottish NHS.Dr Mahdi Doostmohammadi joined the Department of Management Science as a Lecturer in Operational Research in October 2018. He received his Ph.D. degree in Operational Research from University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2014. He worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Before joining the Strathclyde Business School, he also held a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) position in Operational Research at the School of Mathematics of University of Edinburgh. Mahdi is currently director of MSc programme in Data Analytics and Online programmes in the department. Dr Mouhamad Shaker Ali Agha is a teaching fellow and director of MSc Business Analysis &amp; Consulting in the Department of Management Science where he also received my PhD and MSc. He teaches subjects related to operations management, ERP and technical risk management. He is a fellow of The Higher Education Academy and also acts as a reviewer for Operations Management Research Journal. His research interest lies in the area of supply chain management in general and is particular interested in the supply chain risk and resilience analysis, digital supply chains, spare parts inventory management and supply chain management of the renewable energy sector.Konstantinos Koutsouradis Konstantinos Koutsouradis joined Strathclyde Business School in 2015, as a Doctoral Researcher in Health Economics. He has a background in Molecular Biology and Genetics, Healthcare Management, Policy and Health Economics. In 2019, Konstantinos joined the department of Management Science as a Teaching Associate. Konstantinos’ research focuses on Health Economics and Health Policy, particularly in variations in healthcare utilization, while he has been involved in studies and discussions with the WHO and the Scottish Government. He has been the leading lecturer of analytical support in decision making for the MBA course of the International Centres in Middle East and Greece and he is the Director of the MSc in Health Analysis, Policy and Management.
