The Benchmark Initiative is now funding four teams to develop innovative ways of dealing with ethical and practical challenges around location data, while gaining the benefits that data can bring.

The teams' objectives include: helping users understand risks to their privacy; managing differential privacy; provision of sanitation services, and more.
