Using OLEX2 

The Service is an amalgamation of resources at two centres; laboratory-based facilities in the Chemical Crystallography Laboratory at the School of Chemistry, University of Southampton, together with provision of a synchrotron-based facility on station I19 at the Diamond Light Source

UK National Crystallography Service

This course will be delivered by the developers of Olex2.
Attendees should have already used Olex2 to solve some basic crystal structures.
The aim of the workshop is to demonstrate and use more of the advanced features of Olex2 throughout the structure solution process in a friendly and informal setting. Example areas covered include:

<LI>Using restraints and constraints</LI>
<LI>Dealing with disordered structures</LI>
<LI>Understanding solvent masking</LI>
<LI>Making pictures</LI>
<LI>Generating publication quality CIFs</LI>
</UL>
Requirements: - Own laptop, with recent Olex2 (vs1.2.10) installed, along with extension module Fragment DB
Preferable to have a version of SHELX (2014v7 or later)
